Few players can claim a career in sports as distinguished as that of José Manuel Calderón, and few know the inner workings of American basketball as he does. After 14 years in the NBA and playing for 7 franchises, he has lived and formed friendships with some of the main figures in recent basketball history.

This book recounts his experiences with all of them, but also the successes during the golden age of the Spanish national team, of which he was one of the protagonists. Co-written with Quique Peinado, the book includes contributions from LeBron James, Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, and Chris Bosh.
