Synopsis:

What if fiction became reality?

Ariadna is a middle-aged woman who has been married for ten years, the mother of two children, a great reader. Her life is routine, without upsets or surprises, but one day, on a visit to a bookstore, a pen falls on a book and this catches her attention. Ariadna feels the urge to steal the pen and the book, which is entitled A Manual for Making Coincidences Happen, and she takes them home with her. She doesn’t care much for self-help books, but right away, she feels this one was written for her: it mentions many of her own thoughts, as if it could hear her.

Slowly, Ariadna realizes the manual is responding to the questions she is asking herself about her life, as if it could read her mind. Inspired by its words, she decides to change, to start loving herself, and to break with her routines. But Ariadna’s voyage toward self-knowledge won’t be without difficulties.

Reviews

There are some novels that entertain, others that are marvelously beautiful, but only a very few capable of changing your life.

An original inspirational story that draws the reader in and offers keys to looking at life from another angle, discovering and reinventing oneself and learning to love again.
