Synopsis:
A story of love and death and a detailed reconstruction of Bilbao in the first years of the 20th century.
When he learns of the death of Izarbe, Alfredo Gastiasoro returns to Bilbao after years living in Paris. The trip is supposed to be a final tribute to the woman he once loved, but it soon turns into an investigation into the strange circumstances that surround her death. Alfredo must come to terms with his own past, reliving a love story that coincided with an important era, one which saw Bilbao transformed from a rural town to one of the most prosperous cities
in Western Europe.
