Cut Threads

Yamel is a nomad shepherd from the mountains of Kurdistan, and Halide, a Turkish girl from the valley of Goreme who weaves carpets in a workshop. Their story is a very simple one: they love each other. But they belong to very different worlds, alien between them and most of the time confronted. Will they be forced to give up the love they feel? A fascinating trip to the Asian West where we shall discover people, places and customs, and think about one thing that goes beyond any frontier: the eternal fight between tradition and the yearning for freedom.
