With an immersive structure, a sharp narrative voice, and a powerful emotional charge, this novel explores how the subconscious both protects and betrays us, how forgotten trauma shapes our decisions, and how, sometimes, loving someone means knowing when not to intervene.

Mónica Pérez Sobrino left Law to study Journalism—she wanted to write. She has contributed to Diario Vasco and to S Moda, the lifestyle supplement of El País. She currently runs her own communications company. Madame No One was her debut novel.
