Synopsis:
A man is found hanging in a pine forest on the outskirts of Madrid, his eyes torn out by the roots. In one of his pockets is a mysterious piece of paper with the name and address of a woman: Sara Azcárraga, who lives just a few kilometers from the scene of the crime. Fragile, solitary, prone to drinking vodka in her solitude Sara avoids any contact with other humans and works from home. Julián Tresser, a lieutenant in the Civil Guard, takes charge of the case, with the help of the young Corporal Coira, who is working his first criminal case, a difficult investigation with too many enigmas and barely any clues.
As Lieutenant Tresser’s probe move forward, he will discover things that will make his life take a tragic turn and plunge him into a journey through hell that will mark him forever.
