Vero has always been the perfect student: bright, responsible and determined never to let anyone down. Yet the pressure of constantly meeting expectations has begun to take its toll.

As a child, she had a secret way of coping with her worries. Using a toy telephone, she would call an imaginary number and tell a stranger on the other end everything she was too afraid to say aloud. Eventually, she abandoned the game after her best friend mocked her for it.

Now, in the middle of exam season, Vero unexpectedly rediscovers the old toy phone. On impulse, she decides to make one last call, but this time someone answers.

The voice belongs to Tatiana, her former best friend. Drawn into a strange parallel world where memories, fears and unfinished conversations take shape, Vero must confront the anxieties she has spent years trying to ignore.
