Six months. One deal. One last season. And two people who never believed in happily ever after. 

My life is hanging by a thread. Or, more precisely, by a stubborn cowboy who refuses to get back in the arena. I have two weeks to convince Nate Sullivan—the vanished legend of the rodeo—to return to the circuit, or the sports marketing agency where I work will fire me. 

What I discover in Montana shatters all my expectations: the five-time world champion is living off the grid, hiding from the world and protecting something far too valuable to let anyone uncover it. 

I offer him a deal he can’t refuse: I promise not to reveal his secret in exchange for saving my job. What I don’t tell him is that I’ve already lost my apartment, my dignity, and nearly my career because of him.
