Synopsis:

Sepúlveda, a teacher at the Cervantes Institute in Tangiers, is having a clandestine affair with one of his pupils that suddenly gets him dragged into a dangerous investigation into the dealings of Spanish businessmen and politicians inMorocco. This story takes place alongside another depicting the first married years of the protagonist’s parents; a tormented journalist and a very beautiful woman, set in Tangiers in the fifties, amid the sophistication and Bohemian lifestyle of one of the most glamorous cities of the time.
