In addition, it reviews the history of animal rights because, contrary to what some say, this fight is not a fad but has existed for centuries. It is a fight that appeals to responsibility, because, worldwide, 3,000 animals are killed every second in a horrible way in the food industry alone, not counting others that are sacrificed for such industries as fashion or entertainment. If we want to help animals, the least we can do is to try to reach as many people as possible with a coherent discourse that allows us to finally start changing things.
