The Child's Brain: A Great Opportunity

The field of brain studies has seen spectacular progress in recent years, but this knowledge has been applied more for clinical use than at school, in the education of our children. This makes no sense. Our thoughts, feelings and personality depend on our brain and it is very important that parents and teachers learn about how it works, because the brain is the source of opportunities for our children and students.

We don’t all have to become neurologists, but we should have a general idea of how we work and the biological basis for our abilities and difficulties. We should be asking neuroscientists to research this area and then make use of their knowledge.
