Synopsis:

The manager of a branch of a Levantine bank with preferred stock to sell. A young soldier, Fermín Galán, who decides to put his republican ideals into practice and lead the revolution in Jaca in 1930. A fanatical priest at the concentration camp in Jasenovac in Croatia during the Second World War. They must all face risky situations and put their courage to the test in the pursuit of what they value the most: money, the revolution, and faith, and are happy to ignore their consciences as they do so.

Valor delves into the wounds of the past and the deepest weaknesses of contemporary humanity. Time, space and characters take shape before the reader’s astonished eyes to create a novel whose core is that of all great narratives: the complexity of human nature and its contradictions.
