Akira Pantsu

Akira Pantsu studied at ESDIP (Madrid) where he completed a Master’s in Concept Art and Graphics for Video Games, as well as a course in Comics. He participated in the annual contest organized by his university and won first prize in 2018. This marked the beginning of his career as a comic author, debuting the following year in Planeta Manga with MidoriBoshi (2019) and its sequel MidoriBoshi: Kiku’s Diary (2020). He also contributed to the anthology Voices That Count (2021) and participated in various fanzines with illustrations and short comics. Akira’s work is celebrated for its innovative page composition, storytelling experimentation, and rich symbolism.
