Carles Esquembre

Carles Esquembre is a comic author, illustrator, and musician who has carved out an impressive career as a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist for big names such as Dacsa Produccions, Tigre de Paper, Videomapping Pro, Taules Teatre, Timelapse Creative Agency, and Rumores Factory. He ventured in the publishing world with the pulp sci-fi comic The Body. He is also the author of Lorca. Un poeta en Nueva York, Las tres heridas de Miguel Hernández and Hermanos Machado. His recent projects have been making waves in the North American market, where he teamed up with José María Beroy to bring Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera to comic life for Titan Comics. Currently, he’s coloring Motley Crue: The Dirt Declassified with Leah Moore’s script for Z2 Comics.
