Carmen Amoraga

Carmen Amoraga (Picanya, Valencia, 1969) has a degree in Information Sciences and has worked in radio and television. She is a columnist for the newspaper Levante and contributes to panel discussions on Punto Radio, Radio 9 and Canal 9. She is currently a media consultant for the Universitat de València and publishes articles in Cartelera Turia. Her first novel, Para que nada se pierda, won the 2nd Seville Ateneo Young Novelist award. This was followed by La Larga Noche, winner of the Valencian Critics Award and Todas las caricias. Algo tan parecido al amor, her next novel, was a finalist in the Premio Nadal 2007 and El tiempo mientras tanto, was a finalist in the Premio Planeta 2010. She has also published Todo lo que no te contarán sobre la maternidad (Destino, 2009) and Palabras más, palabras menos (2006),a collection of her articles for the press.
