Almudena García Carrasco is a professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at King Juan Carlos University Madrid (URJC). She has authored a range of research papers on obesity and is a member of the URJC research group LIPOBETA, which focuses on the molecular mechanisms of glucolipotoxicity and insulin resistance, and their relationship to obesity, diabetes and metabolic disorders.
