Cruz Sánchez de Lara

Cruz Sánchez de Lara is an acclaimed lawyer and activist in issues related to human
rights and sustainability. She has developed programs in different countries in Africa, America and Europe. In 2011 she founded the NGO THRibune for Human Rights, which she continues to head. She is a trustee of the Fundación Ortega Marañón. Vice-president of El Español, she holds a master’s degree in International Human Rights Law and Humanitarian Law from the American University of Washington. She is also editor of Enclave ODS and magasIN, the sustainability and women’s columns of El Español. Her first novel, Hunting Lions in Scotland, published by Espasa in 2022, was a critical and commercial success.
