
Eduardo Mendoza is a highly prolific novelist known for his masterful
ability to blend sharp wit with critical observations of society, politics, and
human nature. His novels have always been highly praised by critics and
have enjoyed great public success, as evidenced by the numerous languages
into which most of his novels and stories have been translated. In addition
to multiple articles, plays and some essays, he has translated works by
