Erika Lust

Erika Lust (Stockholm, 1977) is a filmmaker notorious for directing so-called ‘pornography for women’. She has lived in Barcelona for several years where she founded the production company Lust Films, for which she works as a scriptwriter, director and producer.

She has directed four full-length films: Cinco historias para ellas (2007, winner of several international prizes), Barcelona Sex Project (2008, which won an award at the Venus Festival in Berlin), Life Love Lust (2010) and Cabaret Desire (2012). She is the author of several non-fiction books published in different countries: Porno para mujeres (Porn for Women), La biblia erótica de Europa (The Erotic Bible of Europe), Love me like you hate me and Por qué las suecas son un mito erótico (Why Swedish Women are An Erotic Myth).
