Fermina Cañaveras

Fermina Cañaveras has a degree in Labor Relations from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, a diploma in Tourism and a degree in Geography and History from the UNED. For the past eleven years, she has dedicated herself to research. Her work is focused on the area of women and repression during the conflicts of the twentieth century at the Center for Memory and Human Rights Studies at UNED. She collaborates with associations such as Recuperación de Memoria Histórica, Fundación FIDGAR or Aranzadi, among others. The Women’s Barracks is her first novel.
