Fernando J. Múñez

Fernando J. Múñez developed a passion for writing from a very young age. At fourteen, he began his first novel, and at eighteen, he wrote his first film scripts. After graduating in Philosophy, he started his career as a director in advertising while also directing his first short films, furthering his academic training in Cinematography in the United States.

In 2012, he directed the feature film Las nornas, which was screened at the Alicante Film Festival and the Seminci in Valladolid. He has published La cocinera de Castamar, which was successfully adapted by Atresmedia, and Los diez escalones, a mystery set in the Middle Ages. Antes se secará la tierra is his third novel.
