Gema Vadillo

Gema Vadillo has been crafting characters and weaving fantasy stories since childhood. A passionate storyteller across multiple mediums, she brings her narratives to life through drawing, photography, and video. In 2019, she debuted with Schizein and the City Where the Sun No Longer Rises, a novel that builds a world shaped by music, dreams, and her boundless imagination. In 2023, she ventured into illustrated fiction with Yellow Doesn’t Exist, followed by her work on the illustrated edition of the Korean literary phenomenon Almond.
