
Isabel Mellén holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy, with a dissertation on the construction of meaning in images, and a degree in Art History. She currently teaches Philosophy at UNED and conducts research on Romanesque art from a gender perspective. Her work includes exploring the role of women in church creation through patronage and the intellectual contributions they made to the imagery in temples, particularly highlighted in her book Tierra de damas. Additionally, she is involved in various projects aimed at disseminating women's history through formats such as podcasts, radio, and popular publications.
