Jota Linares

Jota Linares (Algodonales, 1982) made his directorial debut in 2018 with Animals Without a Collar, a free adaptation of Ibsen’s immortal A Doll’s House. It was followed by Who Would You Take to a Desert Island?, a bitter portrait of his lost generation, and The Girls of Glass, a psychological drama set in the world of professional dance. He is currently preparing his first series as director. The Last Summer Before Everything is his literary debut, based on memories of his childhood and a fictional story he’d have liked to live.
