
Kyoko Kawaguchi (Kumamoto, 1982) is a Japanese journalist based in Barcelona. After completing a master's degree in Humanities with a specialization in Cultural Anthropology, she worked for ten years as a journalist for the Nishinippon Shimbun (Western Japan Daily Newspaper). At this media outlet, she covered general news and was involved in the editorial process. She also received a scholarship from the prestigious Fulbright Program for Journalists.
Passionate about cooking, even during her more than sixteen-hour workdays at the newspaper, she always found time to cook quickly yet healthily. When she’s not in front of the computer writing, you can find her training at a pole dance studio or exploring food from various corners of the world.
