Rafael Hernández Estefanía

Rafael Hernández Estefanía is a Doctor of Medicine and a specialist in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Throughout his professional life, he has worked in Santander, Lisbon, San Sebastián, and Pamplona, and currently practices as a surgeon at the Jiménez Díaz Foundation Hospital and the Rey Juan Carlos Hospital, both located in the Community of Madrid. He is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. In addition to having written numerous chapters and scientific articles related to his medical specialty, he is the author of the novel No reanimes a mi padre, Frederic Larsan and co-author of Cambiando Corazones: Historia de seis trasplantes y un motor. He regularly contributes to Alimente+, the health supplement of El Confidencial.
