
RAFAEL YUSTE is Professor of Neurobiology at Columbia University and Director of the Neurotechnology Center. A pioneering voice in the global debate on brain science and ethics, he serves as President of the NeuroRights Foundation and played a key role in the launch of the BRAIN Initiative under the Obama administration in 2011 — an ambitious project aimed at unlocking the mysteries of the human brain.
He also coordinates the Morningside Group, an international consortium of twenty-five leading neuroscientists working at the forefront of the legal and ethical challenges posed by emerging neurotechnologies.
