Rosa Porcel

Rosa Porcel holds a degree in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Granada. She has conducted research at CSIC, specializing in plant-microorganism interactions and plant tolerance to drought and salinity. Currently, she is a professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia and a researcher at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology of Plants (IBMCP). She is also a recognized science communicator, author of the blog “La Ciencia de Amara,” and recipient of the Antama Award for scientific outreach.
