Santi Giménez

Santi Giménez was born in Barcelona on World Savings Day in 1968. He studied Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Philosophy at UNED. In 1988, he began working for the magazine Barcelona Olímpica, and in 1990, he joined the newspaper Las Noticias. After both media outlets closed, he joined Diario de Barcelona in 1990, a publication he couldn't drive to bankruptcy until 1994. From 1994 to 1996, he worked in corporate journalism, and in 1994, he started at SPORT, where he stayed until 2010. That year, he joined Diario AS, where he is currently the deputy director and delegate in Catalonia. He collaborates with Cadena SER, RAC1, TV3, Catalunya Ràdio, and Ràdio Estel. In 2022, someone made a mistake and awarded him the Premi Ràdio Associació de Catalunya for Radio Innovation for the program Il·lustres execrables on RAC1, alongside Malcolm Otero. His acting career began and stalled with the series Qué fue de Jorge Sanz, by David Trueba. He enjoys good whisky and Voll-Damm beer.
