Tomás Hijo

Tomás Hijo has illustrated over one hundred books for various international publishers, most notably works by J.R.R. Tolkien, for which he won the Tolkien Society Award for Best Artwork in 2016. In addition to authoring works inspired by legends and folklore, he has contributed illustrations to film-related projects such as Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and Nightmare Alley, as well as the Netflix series Stranger Things. His primary creative technique is engraving, and his graphic work is held in private collections around the world.
