Five stories about the fall.  

Hi! I’m Lola, and my brother Toni and I really want the fall to begin. Because you know what happens in that beautiful season when the leaves fall off the trees? We start school, and like millions of boys and girls, I’m really nervous. We’ll talk there about seasonal fruits and vegetables and I’ll meet a boy with a rare illness who will teach me that “we aren’t strange, we’re extraordinary.” With Marvel the squirrel, I’ll learn what to do when I get angry… Plus, I’ll get sick and I’ll have to go to an appointment with my favorite doctor, Lucía, who will tell me kindly and in detail what otitis is and how to cure it. Did your ear ever hurt? Well, now you’ll know why.  

Lucía, my paediatrician, will offer us five tales to share with our little ones to help them better understand how their bodies and minds function in the fall… and all year long! 

The theme that runs through all the books is autumn, and they examine such subjects as starting school, otitis, which starts with a runny nose, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and anger.
