Summer Stories by Lucía, My Paediatrician

Hi! I’m Lola and I’m back with my brother Toni and our favorite paediatrician, Lucía, welcoming in the summer. Together, we’ll go to the beach, learn the importance of putting on lotion to protect us from the sun, and go on a dolphin-sighting trip. Have you ever seen one? You’ll meet Fermín the Dolphin and Maruxa the jellyfish, she’ll sting me and I’ll have to go see my paediatrician, Lucía, so she can make it better. She will tell me a bunch of very interesting things you’ll probably love. Plus, my uncle José will tell us when we go out on the boat about the different types of families and how nice it is to love and respect each other. 

Just before I go on vacation, I’ll get sick with laryngitis, but I’ll go back to see my paediatrician and she’ll tell me what it is. I’m not afraid of going to the doctor because Lucía explains everything clearly to me and never does me any harm. 

Plus, to celebrate my vacation, I’ll take my first airplane. How exciting! And I’ll see my grandparents, who will teach me to swim in the pool. You know how important it is to learn to swim, right?
