Helen Parker has become the golden dragon. After discovering a family secret, she is now the protector of New York’s magical community. Although she has been gifted with great power and has James and Cornelia by her side, she feels more alone than ever.

Helen Parker will join Brooklyn to uncover the cause of these murders and find the mysterious culprit.

But the past always comes back, and Mortimer with it. Like Helen, the leader of the Others has also achieved great power and will not stop until he finds the object he has always been looking for: the Moonstone.
