Álvaro Pombo
Álvaro Pombo graduated in Philosophy from the Universidad de Madrid and later obtained a BA in Philosophy from Birbeck College, London. His work has earned him a place among the undisputed masters of contemporary Spanish literature. In 2006 he won the Premio Planeta with La fortuna de Matilda Turpin.
