
Jordi Llobregat (Valencia, 1971) dreamed of becoming a writer at the age of twelve after watching the movie Le Magnifique, starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jacqueline Bisset. He is the author of the novel El secreto de Vesalio (Destino, 2015), which has been translated into twenty languages and sold in over forty countries, as well as No hay luz bajo la nieve (Destino, 2019). His passion for promoting culture led him to create and direct Valencia Negra, one of the leading European literary festivals dedicated to the noir genre, and co-found AMUNDSEN Laboratorio Cultural, where he supports projects such as Artilugio, Torrent Històrica, Xàbia Negra, the charitable festival Marcapáginas, and the meeting cycle XATS. He is responsible for the column "Atasco en la mesita de noche" in the newspaper Las Provincias and regularly collaborates with specialized media. He is a member of the literary group El Cuaderno Rojo.
