Laura Pazos de Sleepykids

Laura M.ª Pazos Currás (Vigo, 1983) is a Clinical Psychology graduate from the University of Santiago de Compostela and La Bicocca (Milan), specializing in child and adolescent psychology. She holds several master’s degrees, including in Child Psychopathology, Therapeutic Parenting based on Attachment, and Early Childhood Intervention. Additionally, she is trained as an infant massage educator and in positive discipline for families. Since 2014, she has directed a psychology center in Galicia, Terapia Con.tacto, focusing on early childhood attachment, and in 2020, she founded Sleepykids, a center dedicated to improving children's sleep based on secure attachment. She completed further training at the Center for Pediatric Sleep Studies with leading professionals like Nils Bergman, James McKenna, and Gonzalo Pin. Laura has contributed articles on children's sleep to newspapers such as El País and Marca, and, above all, she is a mother of two girls, from whom she has gained invaluable knowledge that no university can provide—knowledge gained through motherhood itself.
