María López Villarquide

María López Villarquide (A Coruña, 1982) holds a doctorate in Cinematic Documentation and Analysis and studied Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. She published the highly successful The Lady Professor (Espasa, 2018), a novel based on the story of Luisa de Medrano, first female professor at the University of Salamanca in the sixteenth century.
