Oriol Rodríguez

Oriol Rodríguez (Barcelona, 1976), a journalist connected to culture and sports, began his professional career as a writer for the magazine RockZone. Later, for more than ten years, he was the coordinator of musical content for Què Fem?, the leisure and culture supplement of the newspaper La Vanguardia, a project he left to become the director of Enderrock, a reference publication for the Catalan music scene. His byline has also appeared in publications like Regió 7, where he was part of the sports editorial team, ARA, Esquire, Forbes, Mondosonoro, Rockdelux, Cinemania, ICON, Jot Down, Tapas, and Panenka, a football magazine where he is a member of the editorial board. Beyond print media, he has also collaborated on several radio programs for stations like RAC1, Catalunya Ràdio, and COM Radio. Winner of the 2011 Bloc Award for Best Journalistic Blog for the interview website 365dies365entrevistes, he is the author of the book Tocats de l'ala. Història oral del rock català and the director of the football documentary film festival Offside. He is currently the head of the culture section at the newspaper ElNacional.cat.
