Synopsis:

After Philosophy on the Street, Eduardo Infante once again invites us to gather in the agora of reflection, debate, and the big questions.

Ethics is a dangerous and subversive discipline, capable of deeply questioning established norms. In Ancient Greece, it was a form of intellectual exercise practiced in the streets, as everyone had the right to give their opinion. Ethics on the Street seeks to recover that questioning of beliefs and values to create a virtual public square that allows readers to engage in dialogue around the questions we face today: exploring what it means to live a dignified and good life, what is good and evil, what limits are posed by genetic engineering or artificial intelligence, among others.

Each chapter presents a philosophical challenge and offers several answers to encourage debate and reflection in collaboration with others: Is an elderly person with Alzheimer's still guilty of crimes they do not remember committing? Is gender a social construct? With the help of great ethical thinkers and classic cinema, we will be able to evaluate alternatives and judge which one is the fairest.
