Saving Socrates

An epic and luminous adventure in which two teenagers—initially at odds—must save Socrates to protect truth, justice, and democracy… and, in the process, reconcile and discover who they truly are.

Alex and Jason, two conflicted adolescents, are swept away by a mysterious daemon to fifth-century BCE Athens. There, they must save Socrates and thwart the plans of Ares, who is determined to impose an authoritarian regime, while Athena struggles to keep democracy alive. Among gods, philosophers, and very real dangers, they discover that defending truth demands an unexpected kind of courage. 

In a fast-paced journey where every choice matters, they will fight not only to prevent the unjust death of the great thinker, but also to defend an essential legacy: the value of thinking—and of choosing who we want to be.
